Using footage taken by chi_thirdrail, I've made a music video for Soul Coughing's "Is Chicago, Is Not Chicago" - CTA Brown Line for "Is Chicago" and CTA Yellow Line/Skokie Swift as it goes through Evanston and Lincolnwood for "Is Not Chicago."

I think most people from the suburbs tell people the real city they live in, unless they are out of town. People from other parts of the country don't know the name Schaumburg, Naperville, etc. Just like people from LA, ATL, NY, SD and practically all other major cities do. Get over it already!

I live in Elk Grove. It borders O'Hare and has like the biggest industrial district in Illinois. I think its Chicago

Get over it. Inner ring suburbs were developed before a lot of the city. Plus, I don't understand how, other than public schools, living in Skokie or Forest Park is different from living in West Ridge or Montclare.

I beg to differ. If it's not inside the city limits, it's not Chicago. It's Chicagoland. There's a difference. Us city dwellers don't like suburbanites saying they're from Chicago when they're from Skokie or Des Plaines.
