Incredible,last time I saw him he was playing alongside Frank Wess,at the Nairn Jazz Festival,blew everyone away and then his amp/speaker went off,and on,and off.Jim then kicked it every twelve bars and brought the house down.

I saw jim play last night... After playing billy strayhorn's lush life, he said 'man , it took me 20 years to learn to play that song properly'......so 10 years is nothin!
