@mongolenpup I'm guessing you've never owned a pitbull so you really have no credibility to speak about them. The intro of that report states "this is by no means a complete list of fatal and otherwise serious dog attacks" which means it's not accurate. That survey was also compiled from press accounts which adds to the inaccuracy. The press has always been biased against pitbulls.

Pitbulls arent vicious there game, and have been bred to have incredible love and respect for people since the beginning of the breed. @tumbleweedyooper This fits my experience very closely, ever since i actually met a real American Pitt Bull Terrier, they have been my #1 breed. I love how you can play as rough as you want and wrestle and your never gonna hurt them or make them mad. They just need a lot of love as well.

educate yourself before you spread hate. did you know pit bulls sed to be known as "nanny dogs" because they're so good with children? or that pitbulls score higher in temperament tests than most other breeds, including golden retrievers? i've been bitten by a cockapoo, a golden retriever, and a bearded collie, but i have never so much as been growled at by a pit bull, which is saying a lot because i've spent much more time with pits than any of the breeds that have acted aggressive toward me.

Let us all take Golden Retrievers instead! 60% of these adorable golden coated dogs have a misconnection in the neurons once a while, that make them unpredictably agressive for no apparent reason (official univerity study after several reports, caused due to over-breeding, resulting in genetic malfunction). This unlike Pitbulls, that always have a very clear reason to attack, also known as terrible owners.
