I hope to explain why we Catholics hold to the one fold, one faith system and believe that the Church has a pastor appointed to it by Jesus.

Then why does the Bible say in 1Timothy 3:15, 'the CHURCH is the pillar and the foundation of truth'?

and about the "key of the house of David" you might read Rev. 3:7 and you'll see WHO HAS IT,hint...is not Peter !!!

well Jesus does give the keys to Peter, so I am not sure about what you are saying here. As far as Jesus having the keys, of course He does. But the whole point is that Peter serves Jesus through teh keys. Peter is not God of course! But Peter is chosen by God to fulfill a ministry for Him.
