  • Hey there,

This competition is brilliant, I have uploaded my entry and have been getting some really encouraging feedback. I think that even if I'm not one of the lucky ones, the competition has allowed me to view other work by artists that otherwise I would never of had the chance to see.

Good luck to everybody, some of these entries put me to shame...;)

    Cheers

    Samuel.

  • Hello Samuel,

Glad you are enjoying the competition and getting loads of good feedback.

Since you seem to be keen to improve your skills, why don't you check out our free video tutorials on the Escape Studios website?

  • Hey.

I am not sure if I am eligible to enter the competition. I graduated Kingston University last year. While I studied at I was freelancing part time at 3D company and freelancing form home. After my university course finished I went full time and I still work full time on architectual visualisations. I am 90% self tought working mostly with 3ds max therefore your competition, Maya course and most importantly Mill placement is soooo interesting to me. Am I eligible to enter the competition??

  • Hi There,

The competition is not open to anyone who has done professional work or is a freelancer. Otherwise it would not be fair to students, graduates and hobbyists.

But don't despair, we will be running our famous Escape Awards later in 2010 and will be rewarding professionals and freelancers then. Keep an eye out for them as we will announce the date around Christmas.

  • Hi there,

So long as you've not worked in the 3D industry before, then you are absolutely fine to enter the competition.
