Diving into the San Marcos river from the water fall at the Saltgrass steakhouse on Sessoms. The cops will come out and chase these folks off every so often, and the penalty for getting caught can range from a stern warning, to a $200.00 fine. Some of these dudes are fearless!

I got a ticket for doing that about 6 years ago. Rarely go up there anymore. This is still our favorite spot to swim.

two as of 2008 before i moved away shits narwlie if u try n fight the current ur fucked but there r nets up underneath joes or saltgrass now so if u did get caught just ride the current n dont panic

@bencr06 - Yes, people have died, but it's when the river is full. When this video was shot, the river was at an all-time low of 86 pcfs. You would have to be nuts to try that now (river currently at 206 cfs).
