@WesLs1 wow, really? They are similar dimensions to a sbc on the outside. How did you even come up with this idea, did you make this up on your own? Guys at LS1techdotcom measured the LS1 and SBC and said they are within 3/16 of an inch in length to each other... Even GM, the designers of these motors call them small blocks.

@WesLs1 I like that you're straight up about the ls losing, and this is coming from an ex-Ford owner myself, and I've still got serious love for their motors, but the lsx series of motors is INCREDIBLE. But nitrous being a poor man's power adder? Come on now, if done right a good nitrous kit will run maybe a grand less than a forced induction setup (on average obviously), and you've got to consider bottle refills, too. It isn't a poor man's upgrade. It's a power adder, fair and sqaure :)

People complain too much, ls1 is not a small or big blocks, they are called mid blocks, and they arent truely 350 cu inches, and nos is just a poor man's power adder, nos is just as effective as t/c and s/c. I love and owned a ls1 and this guy lost fair and square, get over it

sts rear mounted turbo's aren't a very effective turbo system at all.

@cobra2004t ls1 is 350ci small block driver might have sucked or turbo was cheaply installed and the 5.0 is also lighter than a ss so dont get too happy

this is actually surprising. ford guy myself,
but that maro should of won, unless some1 did a terrible job on that putin that turbo in
or that guy really blows at drivin.

My 302 was built and went 13.0 off the NOS but I do still think that camaro should've won. But it didn't and that why I'm a Ford guy...;)
