lol yes thank you, i knew the history between the 2, but its still not the point. kris is NOT hedi, and vice versa..and why would we, as lovers of fashion, want to see the SAME aesthetic hedi produced for another 10 years, under a diff designer?? it makes no sense. again, fashion is about CHANGE!! like Marc Jacobs said, once the ppl get comfortable w/ what youre doing, do the complete opposite!
and yes, i know dries very well and am a huge fan of his..thhaannkkssss <3

Hedi left Dior Homme (LVMH) because they would not back Hedi's own line in conjunction with a continuation of his contract at Dior (an arrangement similar to Marc Jacobss with Louis Vuitton (also LVMH)). Van Assche had worked for Hedi at both YSL and Dior; never worked for anyone but Hedi. That is why they turned to KVA to begin with! They wanted to continue Hedi's vision. Van Assche's designs are at best, derivative. You like this stuff? Look into Dries Van Noten to see it done right.

Hedi left Dior, so why would you expect Hedi-type designs...CHANGE is good, and Kris has done a very good job for Dior Homme, i think anyway
