  • oh course, WoW was made to be simple, easy, wasting money and time, and to be as much of a chatty facebook-like community as possible... afterall... that is pretty much what WoW is, a graphical chat with mini-games :P hardly counts as an MMORPG, sorry but it's true... the more popular it is, the less intelligence is behind it. ... I mean it, WoW even prompted the original Warcraft creators to quit blizzard, it's THAT BAD.

  • its too bad this music isnt in the soundtracks anywhere, its beautiful

  • A Final Fantasy MMO is a great idea, but...

This and XIV shouldn't have been numbered games.

  • @gaybutte That is Aldo. Aldo is head of the Tenshodo in Jeuno, brother of Verena and Mathilde, and was a survivor of the siege of Tavnazia when he was a young boy (as seen in the opening movie).

  • I like the JP ads more :D the are the best!

Either way I love this game! ^_^

  • does anyone know if the kid at 0:15 has a name? He/She looks like Jake Lloyd (young Anakin Skywalker)

  • @Tlatoani2099 Despite this being eight months old.

Everything you just described that you could do while waiting for a party, all requires a party in order to do. To craft you need materials that come from mobs, or money made off of mobs which requires a party. Quests normally entail killing things which require parties. Raising your chocobo requires money which entail mobs. Fishing requires money made off of mobs, and doing anything useful at the AH requires money.

  • @DGrant1010 the beauty of the game is in fact its complexity, is by no means boring, and regarding those 4 hrs just looking for party there is plenty of stuff you can do while you look for party, you have H.E.L.M, crafting, quests, chocobo racing, fishing, even camping the auction house for a bargain price, and checking bazaars, it used to be an issue but SE has implemented solutions to the "looking for party" problem, but leveling a character is just a small part of the game and not the essence

  • Aynone know the name of this song?

  • @DGrant1010

Yet ffxi community is far greater than WoW's community, Playing from both ends, most WoW players just spend their time bashing WoW. I would rather play with people bashing another game then bashing their own game.

  • Also, if you don't have 6+ hours every day to play FFXI, don't bother. 4 of those hours could be spent with your party flag up, doing absolutley nothing.

  • @Kwantonium

You will find better gameplay in a lot of other games. You will not find a better story. And you will find a better community. FFXI spend theyre days Bashing WoW players. WoW players havn't even heard of FFXI lol. Nor do they care.
