"..CFLs will make many people sick, by emitting radio frequency radiation that contributes to dirty electricity, that can cause migraines, dizziness, nausea, confusion, fatigue, skin irritations, and eye strain.
Dirty electricity consists of surges of high frequency voltage and electromagnetic radiation that grossly contaminates our otherwise relatively safe 60 Hz-frequencies, and can even cause numerous serious illnesses, including autism, asthma, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, and other neurological disorders.."

Is it too hard to believe that modern eugenics could actually be happening right under our very noses? Health risks of aluminum have been known for over a 100 years, yet we coincidentally find aluminum added and/or concentrated in so many things we consume, wear, and use daily, such as commercially made bread products[1], american cheese[2], tap water[3], filtered water (activated alumina, reverse osmosis[4]), medicine (pill buffers, nasal sprays, *vaccines*[5]), clothing[6], personal and *baby care* products[7] such as shampoos, deoderants, toothpaste, makeup and unfortunately plenty more too.
Do not blindly trust in just any filtered water, for reverse osmosis filtration can concentrate the dangerous heavy metals mercury and aluminum[3]! Beware of activated *alumina* filters, and Aluminum Fluoride[3,8] as well..

"Alum powder.. is used as the acidic component of *some* commercial baking powders. Alum was used by bakers in England during the 1800s to make bread whiter[1]. In 1875(!!!), the Sale of Food and Drugs Act prevented this and other adulterations.[2]"

[*] Correction for wikipedia: From "..*some* baking powders" to "..*every* major commercial brand of baking powder, including a well-known major brand that is known traditionally by some for not using alum in its' residential size packages."

"In the April 1995 issue of the international science journal, Neurotoxicology.. reported that the widespread use of aluminum salts to purify water may lead to brain damage and may account for the large scale loss of memory experienced by people suffering from Alzheimer's disease!
The Australia Institute of Biomedical Research, based in Sydney, reported that experiments with rats showed that tiny amounts of aluminum consumed in water found its way to their brains and accumulated there. It has been known for twenty years that if aluminum accumulated in the brain over a period of time, it could kill off neurons and cause memory loss.
Institute researcher Judie Walton noted the worldwide massive increase in Alzheimer's disease over the past 70 years. She pointed out: 'We are drinking it and eating it throughout our lifetimes, so by the time we are quite old we have had a lot of exposure to aluminum.'The research on rats found measurable amounts of aluminum in their brains after just one glass of aluminum treated water. Walton observed: 'We really should look seriously at revisiting this possibility that aluminum addition to foods and drinking water is a health hazard.'
Using aluminum to purify water may be even more dangerous than the use of fluoride and chlorine in our water. It is believed that the problem is worsened by the action of fluoride in facilitating the absorption of aluminum."

"One intriguing and disturbing fact about fluoridation is that over 90% of the agent used in US fluoridation schemes is not pharmaceutical grade sodium fluoride, on which practically all toxicological testing has been performed, but industrial grade hexafluorosilicic acid obtained from the air pollution scrubbing systems of the superphosphate industry (e.g. Cargill Fertilizer). By law, this waste cannot be dumped into the sea but the EPA allows it to be diluted down with our public drinking water. The union representing scientists at the EPA headquarters in Washington, DC has gone on record as opposing this bizarre form of hazardous waste management (See www.fluoridealert.org)."

  • What a bunch of hooey! HA! Junk science seems to appeal to people who were hoping there was a bogeyman in the closet.

You might search for "dirty electricity" and see what the ScienceBasedMedicine folks have to say.

  • @MJBragg75: Do you believe these two past and present examples also qualify as "junk science"?

  • This is such a failure...

  • @B1r6m4n re: "This is such a failure..."

Stating your opinion as a fact and supporting a logical argument with inductive reasoning are the only "failure" I see so far..

  • Look up "the secret covenant", this is what we face:

"We will use our knowledge of science and technology in subtle ways so they will never see what is happening. We will use soft metals, aging accelerators and sedatives in food and water, also in the air. They will be blanketed by poisons everywhere they turn. The soft metals will cause them to lose their minds. We will promise to find a cure... yet we will feed them more poison. The poisons will...destroy their minds and reproductive systems."

  • This is what you would expect in a sci-fi movie.. Only it's actually happening. Such an unclean world..

  • I won't have them in my home ever again. Thanks for the tip.

  • This is what you call "Bad Technology"

  • Thanks, I will be getting rid of these in my home now!!

  • I always preferred LED anyway but these bulbs do fine - I have asthma and haven’t noticed any affect from lights in my home that are CFL. I do however hate things that create RF cause it messes with my electronics projects. If you don't like rf don't through away you're old bulbs just give them away or use them in basements or places that you don't have on as frequently because they contain mercury and need to be recycled.

  • @MJBragg75 Alright, what has YOUR research revealed? I'm very interested to find out what you've found in your studies of this issue. Just indicate the citation where your report can be found, along with your sources [bibliography]. Thanks.

  • @DivinityBleu Wow.

  • For the past three years, I've had chronic headaches and sinus problems (bad sinus problems, daily) and after hearing a report about the health threats of CFL's I decided to do a little experiment. I had my husband replace the CFL with standard incandescent bulbs (this problem had been going on for as long as we've been using CFL's) and within a couple of days, my sinuses are back to normal (never had issues before) and I haven't had a headache since. Very troubling.

  • @MJBragg75 Do you work for the China based CFL plant? Yeah, we've listened to the "ScienceBasedMedicine" folks who say Fluoride is healthy, chemtrails are water vapor, GMOs will make us stronger, Lymes disease is not a serious disease, so why would we be surprised if these "folks" also tell us that there is nothing wrong with a home full of mercury vapor and brain frequency interference?

  • Problem with using LEDs in your house is LEDs are directional light. And I havent seen a home LED setup so that it isnt directional. So unless you plan on putting 50 LED bulbs in one room, you wont have much light.
