*****PLEASE READ*****

The coloured lines you can see are because the cameras frame rate. You DO NOT see this in person. This is projected onto a white wall.

  • thanx for the replyhave you tried it with the 3d converter box yet? also would you recomend buying the projector?

  • @81pjbeattie I havn't, sorry. I would recommend this projector highly ! Although a few negatives are it pushes out a LOT of heat and can be a bit loud during quiet scenes, but you can enable the 'low altitude' fan setting which will lower it, but you'll compensate over time for the bulb life

  • hi, im looking at buying this projetor, can you tell me what distance is there between ur screen and projector and what size picture does this give you?

  • @81pjbeattie There was about an 8 foot distance from my wall and the projector and gives around an 80" screen. Although this video was taken over a year ago - there is a recent video posted as a video response :)

  • @81pjbeattie Although, that was set so that the zoom function on the projector gave me the biggest image possible

  • Hello is this 3D ready ? I am loving the Optoma , had one before but then got a bigger tv . not bigger then the screen i could get with the projector lol With this one you have does it come with 3d glasses? i want to play blu rays from the ps3 ... have you tested any 3d blu rays?

  • @FILMSCREENTV I havn't tried it with any 3D blu rays and it doesn't come with any 3D glasses. To watch 3D content with this projector, you either need an Nvidia graphics card with 3D vision OR buy a 3D XL adaptor from Optoma, which includes a pair of 3D glasses. Hope this helped :)

  • @waackomann Thanks, can't wait to see Battlefield 3 on this bad boy :)

  • @ShallowDepression Yes, it's very easy to setup. You just have to connect it and then enable it in the display options under control panel (If using Windows) You'll want to use external speakers as HDMI from PC doesn't always carry sound as it depends on the graphics card and HDCP, also DVI doesn't carry sound :) Hope this helps. If you watch the video response to this you can see the projector performing much better !

  • @waackomann Is it easy to set up? I want to play 3D gaming and films from my PC, thanks.
