These two have been friends (and secret lovers) for more than a year. This is just another one of their play sessions at the dog park..

  • These dogs are PLAYING! That's why I wrote in the description Watch Part 2 of this, which is 2 mins later...and watch the video of them @ the beach together with all the other dogs. STOP TALKING ABOUT DOG FIGHTING!! Stop speculating on who would win, etc. If you fight dogs or are around dog fights, you really have issues and, obviously, lacked some sort of nurturing as a child.

  • i thought akita were very dog aggressive?

  • It all depends on how they were raised as puppies. Some males are territorial, but others aren't. Some are good as only pets, others thrive in multi-dog homes. It's impossible to generalize.. But people still do it anyway.

  • 5 seconds more and it was a real fight

  • ...actually, watch part 2. It's a minute later. They're best friends.

  • They're best friends... Do you realize your dogs are fighting for pride, they are not playfighting..

You probably know this, hence why they are on leashes.. You let it go to far and that rotty would sadly end up dead. But the Akita wouldn't act on it, inless it was attacked in the first place, they are pretty calm dogs for the most part, but I still wouldn't fuck with one.

  • LOL. They're on leashes because they chase squirrels. And they are best friends who play fight roughly. Nothing more. Watch them at the beach or Part II, my friend.

  • I've owned 3 Akitas. Many other dogs as well. Akitas are by FAR my favorite. Biggest personalities, and undeniably an absolute beast.

  • Yes the Akita was bred to trap bears and kill if it needed too. If you really loved your dogs you would not care what type would win in a fight. I feel you dumb owners should fight to the death instead of the dogs.

  • @bearmanguy Yes. The first 2 I owned was a male and female when I was a teen. I had 2 younger sisters. They were both great with them. Never a single show of any sort of aggression towards any of us or my parents. The 3rd I owned when I moved out. He was fine with those closer to me, but was very dominating of strangers that came into my home. He never snapped at anyone, but would growl at strangers that tried to walk up and pet him. They would have to wait for him to want to me him on his terms

  • @FlakJakit47 Bore off nob rot !

  • @cyberwhore01 they are. But the Rottweiler was submitting, my bitch will be fine with dogs if they let her sit on them, if they try to resist things turn ugly very quickly. Its a breed issue, when she was young I took her to puppy classes and socialised her with many dogs, but she got to about ones she started to put her dominance down, if a dogs submits fine, if not there will be trouble.

  • @FlakJakit47 I plan to get an Akita, Boxer, and Bobcat (Highland Lynx). Would the Akita get along with the other two? I had a boxer and cat and they were bestfriends (both past). So I'm just wondering about the Akita.

  • @SAMKREATOR no they are the sme as every other dog.just dont piss them off.ofcours they can be agressiv but towards other dogs.

  • @FlakJakit47 Not true. Any Akita worth there salt is dog aggressive!!

  • with out play fights dogs would never learn to socialise and thus dog fights.......

  • beautiful dogs..and wow people have posted some incredibly ignorant comments.

  • Two females? Surprised they're getting along so well.

  • @mikeybbdrummin female akitas are just as beautful
