SEGMENT 3 - SWOT ANALYSIS
By Patrick Dengel
It goes on to say that a SWOT analysis must first start with a defined objective. From there we can look at our:
• Strengths or characteristics of the business that give it an advantage over others in the industry.
• Weaknesses are characteristics that are disadvantage overothers.
• Opportunities: external chances to make greater sales or profits in the environment.
• Threats: external elements in the environment that could cause trouble for the business.
A SWOT Analysis if done honestly and with diligence helps you to establish some of the parameters in being successfully by being aware of the problem areas as well as your potentials in thinking through your business and market plans. These will be of great use in the next segment, TARGETTED GROUPS, SECONDARY MARKETS and COMPETITION.
