@OmegaM41 on my Altima, there is a click if you put the pedal all the way and this gives you an extra 500RPM boost, but you are right were there is no drop down in a gear.

@Zhu8 Yeah, kickdown is used to refer to when an automatic transmission downshifts into a lower gear under hard acceleration. There's really no such thing as "kickdown" on a CVT.

How do you have kickdown on a CVT? Doesn't It Just change the ratio?
