Episode 1.05 - "You Found Me"

This is a part of our double feature night, the second episode for tonight's full night... or for me it's actually one in the morning but that's besides the point.

This episode starts off where we left off, the next day (after Tric).

Lucas and Karen get into an argument as Lucas takes Deb's side and tells Karen that her actions were wrong, and that she can't act innocent in the whole thing.

At Brooke's house, Dean is about to get back into his car after visiting with Haley while Sam was with Brooke and before leaving the two share a passionate kiss. Sam and Brooke's first.

At school the next day, Brooke and Haley have their regular before class chats. Brooke talks about her kiss with Sam and urges Haley to let Dean all the way in already.

Lucas finds himself at Deb's house with a suitcase. He had asked if he could crash there for awhile a few days earlier and Deb allowed him to. Deb asks Lucas if he has everything and Lucas tells her he's fine, but something tells his mother it's not exactly the truth.

As Brooke stumbles her way back into her house, she finds Sam waiting for her. Sam's there to talk about the kiss; to see if it meant what he thought it meant. But, when he finds her drunk the two start to talk about where the whole thing was going. Brooke isn't quite sure how she feels about Sam, but she knows there's something there although she's too afraid to admit it. Sam tells Brooke that when she figures it out and can think/walk straight to let him know.

Back at the gym that the basketball team is having to clean up, Lucas and Nathan get into a fight about Lucas moving out. While Lucas brings up the fact that Nathan has been avoiding Haley for the past week, Nathan gets more frustrated with his half brother and walks away.

Dean and Sam have a brotherly talk. Dean tells Sam to stop acting like a girl and just keep doing what he's doing with Brooke - it's not like any other girl has taken an interest. Sam soon turns it around and tells Dean maybe it's about time he starts to grow up and take something seriously - like his relationship with Haley.

At the finals of the tournament, the Ravens start their game and the shot soon turns into the end of the game where the Ravens have lost. Whitey, giving them the speech about teamwork, looks at Nathan and Lucas letting them know that the loss is on them.

As Rachel expresses her feelings about the game, and her own school team Brooke and Haley talk about their plans for the evening. Haley jokes about Brooke spending the night with Sam, but soon says Haley's planning on having a talk with Nathan instead.

As she sees Dean walking away from the gym, Haley stops him while waiting for Nathan and the two talk. Dean tells Haley that he's not the perfect guy and Haley deserves better, while Haley says he's right, but that doesn't mean she can keep herself from feeling the things she does for him and the two share a very passionate kiss.

The next day, Deb talks to her daughter about the issue arising with her father. Haley tells her mother that nothing that happened was her fault, it was Keith's and he doesn't deserve a second chance. Deb is still skeptical which frustrates Haley and she tells her mother that if she wants to go ahead and get hurt again than she shouldn't expect her to be around to hand her tissues the second time around.

As Ellie gets released from the hospital, she comes to stay with Peyton, her biological daughter who looks very excited to see her. Little does she know Ellie checked herself out.

Haley gets a knock on the door all her own, by Dean and the two spend the night catching up, making up and watching movies.

At school the next day, Haley and Nathan finally talk as Dean looks on.

Next episode there will be drama surrounding Leyton, but the series isn't starring either of the two so there won't be big parts of them thrown in there afterwards, but there will be different things.
