Unfortunately, her husband Andre turned out to be a big mistake. He was controlling and abusive to Natalie. But Natalie didn't want to let him go because of the letter that she put in her Bible asking God to send her someone. She thought this was the man that God sent her and somehow everything would work itself out. But it only got worse when he also was cheating on her. Sometimes just because you ask God for something, if it is not his will, it will not work out.

@tommiexander I read the book Angel On My Shoulder. I don't recall a nose job but i could have very well missed it. I'm not doubting you though. Thanks for the info. :-)
