  • @danielflynn3 That is not true, if you knew anything about traditional Japanese tattooing you would have seen that masters like Horiyoshi do them going up and down, represents the seasons as well as swimming through the currents of life. They are also revered in Japan because they are thought to bring luck and are likened to the Samurai because they do not make a move even when faced with the blade. Get it right before you go talking.

  • @coolguy0204 fagg

  • weak!

  • I hate the way so many people have the koi facing down, as you stated it's symbolic in regards to the Koi swimming up the waterfall to the golden palace where it transforms into a dragon. People need to understand this, if you have a tatt of a Koi facing downwards then it has no symbolic reference to the traditional koi tatt. I love the way you have both the koi and dragon. I'm actually thinking about doing the same. Keep it authentic.

  • has anybody heard of black people with like fifty cent complections getting anykind of color in their tattoos?

  • @noshishifty22101501 as a tattooist, i know that being great at drawing definitely helps, especially if you want to get into doing custom work, but its not necessary... i'd say one of the most important parts would be being able to trace outlines very well and with a steady hand

  • @wontonsaregood i agree, lol, that's the reason i have a nice Platypus wrapping around my left lower leg, no joke, lol

  • this is very poor work its ugly and done with a stencil as well very much a budge job

  • Nice koi man, I just got my outline done yesterday and it took 4 hours, I got to say the meaning behind the tattoo tho is what makes me wanna get it finished even more. How long did the shading take for your tattoo? either way nice art man!
