  • lol, you may not be gregor sobocan, but id love to see him bottom up press the beast. With perfect technique the jerk uses less strength than any exercise, the leg bounce creates the thrust and your arm is very loose until the bell reaches lockout. i would much rather have pressing power than technical reps, it is after all where applicable strength comes from, like the power to pick people up and throw them lol. which you are more likely to be able to do than gregor mate hehe. nice work though.

    I'm practicing jerks, but realistically like you say, jerks are used to conserve energy but will help all round sports prowess as part of my training anyways.

  • In Russia press with little help of legs is called "shvung" (I don't know how it is in English). It's very useful exercise, I do it with 24 kg (my weight is 82 kg). But you're real strong man, if you could achieve good technique you can do records! My respect!
