  • How does it do in low-light conditions? Does it drop frames? Please reply. I'm thinking of getting one to more easily film snowboarding videos. I would be filming in all conditions.

  • it does not do all that great in low light conditions.

  • cool, how does the 60fps mode work when you slown the vid down

  • I have not tried that yet..ill have to give it a shot.

  • This camcorder still going strong? I'm thinking about getting one... it's a great price, and the quality of the video looks pretty great from what I've seen.

The other camcorder I've had my eye on, naturally, is the Flip series Flip Mino HD... but it is a bit more expensive...

I'm totally new to all this, so none of it's coming easy... 20 bucks, to me, is a lot of money, so when it get's up to these kinds of prices I want to be sure of what I buy. :P

  • been working great so far!

  • Nicely Done! ~ Your very imformative!

  • Thanks for this. I ordered mine today which shall come in a couple of days :)

  • well you do trade off some things that are pretty standard in a more expensive camera. Image stabilization, Auto Focus, Low Light ability, Longer Battery Life.

My main concern right now is the robustness of the actual lens... kinda worried about it getting scuffed up and reducing image quality

  • cool man, based on what I've heard about this camera, it looks like you picked up a very nice camera... by the way, is it just me or did I wake up in a time lapse? last I heard, a good HD video recorder was upwards of $500-750, and now we've got pocket-sized recorders with excellent video quality for less than half that. who would've thought?
