Coinciding with the release of Kid Cudi's collaboration jackets with Surface to Air was the premiere for the "Mr. Rager" video. Screenings of the video were shown last night at Surface to Air's new NYC store. The video is directed by Surface to Air founder Jérémie Rozan and see's Cudi in a brutal and vicious brawl.

All of the people are supposed to be his inner demons. He's fighting them all, and winning, but in the end he couldn't defeat his worst demon: himself. Mr. Rager is supposed to be an extension of him, a part of him that wants to take over and consume him with anger and hatred. His self-destructive side, more or less.

@FA1S3TT0 I agree about the combatants being issues in his life but I felt as though Mr. Rager was the one fighting his way through them. From the calm and peaceful look on the killer's face I thought that would be his good side eliminating the part of him, The Rager, that endured so much struggle and self-hatred. And sending him on his "way to heaven." That's how I like to interpret it, anyway.

All of the people represent the issues he must face throughout his life and how sometimes they bring him down but he always gets back up and never stops fighting. Kid Cudi himself is the guy who breaks the chain and all that and Mr. Rager is the one who kills him at the end and takes over his life, the "bad" side of Kid Cudi. That's my theory.
