@Shawneha I know!!! So many people blame Islam, muslims, Arabs, Americans, or Christianity..........yet all of this hatred and violence is led simply by greed. Greed of the few that cons the masses into fighting each other on their behalf.......yet we never see the elite dying on the battlefield. I guess all this Damon-haters can't stand to hear the truth even when it's right in their face. Sarah Palin was (and still is) a disaster as was the Iraq War and I don't know how anyone could argue otherwise.

The only parrots I've heard are republicans or people who claim to be republican that just recite whatever ignorant, racist,or idiotic thing they hear from Fox news.

I saw this movie and really enjoyed it because it was a really good thriller and not because of it's political stance.

kofi annan is a he, not a she. but needless to say, wouldnt you think that the secretary general of the un would know if iraq violated any un resolutions or not?

the un is not an independent organization, it's the united nations. you know most of the world sees it as an illegal war. usa is the one committing a violation by invading iraq. you know how to fix the mideast? look at the ppl from tunisia and egypt. you see, they can fix their own country by themselves, no need for us troops.

I believe that some senior officials were not sure. I believe that we just were over arrogant and decided as long as we were in the middle east we might as well as take care of a country that did break UN resolutions created after the First Gulf War cease fire. Iraq broke nearly every resolution, these actions would discontinue the cease fire and allow continual military action. Not illegal. The only thing I disagree with is the timing and planning of OIF.

@phlyegles43 honestly, you really believe that senior officials in the white house didnt know that there were no wmds? thats hard to imagine. some truly didnt know, especially the ground forces that were senselessly sent there, but thats what's so stupid about this war. not to mention, it's downright illegal. americans were the ones who kicked wmd-inspectors out too.

even if iraq did have wmds, so what? who were they threatening? why doesnt the u.s invade russia and china. they have plenty of it

They did not make up the of the matter of Weapons of Mass Destruction. They believed this because Saddam himself said so in fear of Iran. There were multiple Weapons of Mass Destructions found, just not massive stockpiles. We truly believed there were some weapons stockpiled somewhere. When we didn't find the massive stockpiles the media took over. But to say Iraq was not a just cause because we did not find these weapons in inaccurate. We own none or Iraq's oil

the right wing in america labeled this movie as being "anti-american" and "anti-war".

that kind of means that the term "pro-america" is side by side with the term "pro-war".

@phlyegles43 so naive. why do you think there were huge disagreements within the american government? because it was a question of morality. was this war justified? why did they make up the story of wmds then? for the sole reason that they wanted saddam out? why did they want saddam out? why did they want to replace a pro-american puppet to lead iraq?

now you're questioning china and india lol. all they did to get iraqi oil was go in there with a pen and paper, like what normal countries do.

This movie did a good job portraying government disagreement and disorganization in the opening stages of the Iraq War. I believed the movie was great until it panned out to the Iraqi oil fields. I just wanted to make it clear that the Iraq War was not motivated by oil. All Iraqi oil wells belong to the Iraqi people. However you may feel free to question China and India about trying to get their hands on Iraqi oil.

i saw the movie and i gotta say i believe all of it was conspired to manipulate the American people for economic gain.
