this was the best performance of that entire year.

not a musical-theater-style performance at all - ironic since dc said he grew up doing theater - maybe he couldn't cut it there? lol

anyways, a decent performance, and loved how he handled the high note!

Would love to hear him rip 'Heaven on Their Minds'. Or 'Gethsemane'.

He has the perfect voice and phrasing and emotion for the song

He has way to much 'pop' in his voice for this song. and he isn't being very dramatic when he sings the 'grasp it, sense it' parts. Your supposed to draw it out, like in the Original cast recording. (which I listen to everyday on my way to work, and back). He isn't a very good Phantom, but he is an OK singer.

I thought David Cook's voice on this song Music Of The Night was fantastic, which had me feeling teary, and I also had Goosebumps, and I thought he is truly fabulous and amazing.

He has a nice voice, but I actually didn't like the performance. He failed to capture the emotional spirit of the song. Sure his voice is nice, but the overall performance was entirely bland.

David Sang that song which was absolutely beautiful, and I loved it alot. and I thought his voice was absolutely brilliant and he is truly amazing.
