I have loved Phyllis Hyman, since I was14 yrs old, and I was born in the 60's, this song, my favorite. I grew up with LPs, and I loved the intro on this song. I would start the song over and over, that is how bad, the arrangement was. Just listen, really listen, to the entire arrangement of this song. The song should have gotten a grammy. I am so grateful to have grown up, in a time, when true songs were made and sung. Finally, check out her ad-libs, no-one in this generation even comes close!

This is so beautiful! That orchestra was on it!

She made some great music. So underappreciated. If the industry woulda done her some justice the same way she set the bar and inspired many women to actually sing and not come out with crap, she would probably still be alive. The industry drove her to kill herself, the industry and Satan.
