I think I understand it now!!!
If you just drop water through a pipe which doesn't swirl or anything, than you can just collect the scalar or transitional energy.
But, if it rotates and you uses that energy as well than it isn't just the energy stored in the height of the water, but also energy tapped from the rotation of the earth, since that is what causes these vortexes to be created.
We have a new source of energy here!

Well first of all, its allthough not able to add more energy, the physical resistance of this system is extremly low, that's because this system works opposite from the normal form of momvement, which goes from the center and outwards.
But these water-whirls have many different attributes which makes them special. In a way just as gravity pushes everything down, it also in a way drags itselfs down.

I thought angular velocity is always faster than scalar velocity.
Are you saying there is some extra energy put into the system that is unaccountable by this person?

There is some extra magic here, the movment and speed of the water will increase as it travels down, even more than if it went down straight.

Read Victor Schauberger's work 'Our Senseless Toil', and you might start to understand the power of vortex - the core of life itself! (look at the galaxies - shaped like vortices.. yet very tiny shells (clams?) are shaped like vortex also. If you smoke cigarettes, there are again vortices in the smoke. Just watch a wind blow some leaves on a street - vortex again! Magnetic fields are actually vortex-shaped! Look at the crop circles.. vortex is the building-'block' of life itself.

So, is there something special about this water funnel?
Or is it just the beauty of nature in action?
-
its the hyperbolic funnel, created by walter schauberger, in following his father's work (viktor schauberger). as far as i know its german, but not sure what it says, sorry:(
What did he say?
