Valkyria Chronicles - Chapter 10-1: Rank A strategy

It takes 4 turns to beat this one. I don't think it's possible to beat it in 3. All you have to do it get the Edelweiss to the other side so the amount of time it takes to beat this mission is pretty much dependant on how fast you can get it there. I don't see how using infantry could be beneficial in any way since the Tank can get there without any help.

I've decided to try and take on the project of exploring the possibly of speed running this game. Basically, beating each of these levels as efficiently as possible without power-leveling. That means not only beating each level in under the amount turns required to get "Rank A" but also trying to optimize each action and ultimately achieving the most efficient strategy possible. I'm always looking to improve myself so if you have any tips and tricks leave a comment, video response or whatever.

5:47 Must suck to be a cannon fodder infantryman in a turn base game. You see the tank coming to plow you over and can easily avoid it by taking as little as 4-5 steps, but oh wait, its not your turn yet. GG good man

I found it better to run over the hidden lancer in the grass then shoot him in the same turn so you can have an extra turn to shoot down both lancers next to the tank near the end in turn 3.

when I did this mission, on, turn 2, it only gave me 10 stars

and yes, I had Alicia, Rosie, and Largo on the map

You probably could have killed that last lancer that was in front of you to gain some extra exp, though not much it might help a tiny bit

I managed to luck out with that last mortar strike on the enemies act 2, while I was unfortunatly in the dead center of it, the explosion took out the two shocktroopers right next to me.
