  • What's the ornament you're playing in the first measure?

    Sounds like a roll, but the video makes it look like you're tapping twice without a cut. Is this your technique or am I seeing things.

  • HI! Thanks for the question :D Actually, it's a roll, but what your proposing is quite interesting! My playing has improve since I recorded this video, so I'll try that "double tapping"! :D

  • Hello! That flute was made by Gilles Lehart, a Breton maker. It's made of african blackwood, 5-keyed, tune in Eb. It seems to be a Prattern model, but I'm not sure. It was made between January and February, current year. The audio is out of sync (blame youtube for that!)

  • very nice. thats a bloody hard tune to play on the whistle and can only be harder on the flute. very impressive
