These credits are for the "new" 1985 episodes (the original 1962-'63 episodes featured new "composite" credits for everyone who worked on those). There were 51 new episodes in all [10 more were produced in 1987]. John Kricfalusi briefly worked for H-B during this period, as Butch Hartman did on Ruby-Spears' animated "PUNKY BREWSTER" for NBC. Animation supervisor David Feiss later created "COW & CHICKEN" for Cartoon Network.
From what I understand, the 1985 Jetsons repackaging consisted of the original 24 episodes from 1963 plus 41 new ones. I'm reading these credits and they seem to be a combination of both the 1963 and 1985 production staffs. (People like John Kricfalusi and Andrea Romano are mentioned, who were just kids during the original run.) So I'm guessing every episode, old and new, was given this same credits sequence that apparently just covered everyone in one trip.

Recently, in 1997, HB restored the original credits to the classic episodes in the 60's.

Since both began in 1985, Hanna Barbara should have just made "The Jetsons/Gobots Challenge Hour".

Were the Jetsons more popular in the 80s?

John K. actually doesn't HATE his tour of duty on these new Jetsons episodes.
Or at least he's proud of his attempts to influence the quality of the episodes.
