THIS is why Dracula is better than Twilight's sparkling vampire wannabes. What I wanna see is Dracula vs all of the Twilight "vampires" and "werewolves"... it'd only last about a second, but what a second it'd be!

the effects , visuals, sets, costumes ( on and on!) for the entire film are remarkable, while dated in few frames - it is hard to believe it was made so long ago, in what was a different era in film making without the benefit of so much of what is available today..

@jamesx6x You're forgetting that we all have weaknesses, a crucifix or holy water could woo him away. But they're Mormon vamps so never mind. And yes, Dracula is by faaaaaaaaar the better vampire, he can go on the sun and well, he feels weak.

@FantasmaLuna Studios now don't want to use make up effects or props and want to rely on CGI becuase, while more expensive, saves a lot of time. That's why The Wolfman remake had CGI wolves.

@jamesx6x Yeah but this Dracula is still easily tamed by love, in the original novel he wasn't in it for love he was in it for killing, he didn't love anybody and was like the shark in Jaws.
