As of next week I will be the lucky and blessed recipient of a new kidney that should revamp my dwindling supply of energy for life. As well, it should help restore my electrolyte imbalanc e (among other kidney functions we take for granted).

  • Looking forward to an update.

  • Praying for a good outcome for your transplant and a speedy recovery.

  • Ohhhh Allie, I am so happy for you. Praying that everything will go smoothly and you'll recover nicely. Please let us know as soon as you can how you are.

  • Allie. I look forward to your transformation. There is more good news for stem cell research. You wanted to know what companies are making progress, and the latest news in my area is that UC Irvine is opening its state of the art stem cell labs.

  • Good luck Allie - you are followed and admired by many. Stay strong.

  • Allie, you're looking and sounding much better. Almost as good as new. Glad to have you back and speaking your mind.

  • Can't wait for your new Kidney AL!!! I'm here for you 110% of the time. You're doing so great with your recovery from the stroke, and I admire your strength. I LOVE MISS ALLISON!!!!

    Love,

    Your baby sis

    XOXOXOXOXO

  • Good luck Allie. I had a Kidney/Pancreas transplant in 1994 and then had them removed in 2001. It wasn't a great experience. I then had a kidney only transplant in 2004 and I'm doing much better, Hang in there and let us know how your doing.

  • best of luck hon you will be fine

  • Hey Allie, best of luck with the new kidney. And have a speedy recovery. Yes life Im sure will be better for you, I cant imagine how much pain or frustration youre going through, (the diabetes part I can imagine) but with the stroke and the upcoming transplant, you got to be one tough cookie.

Dont be a stranger and let us know how it all goes, just hook up in your hospital bed with a lap top and vlog away.
