General brake replacement with some good advice. This particular car is 1993 Mercedes 400E. Watch and enjoy. There is some cool engineering on these things that I have never seen! Thanks and check out our channel we are going to have some videos of it in action!

  • I have only looked at them the one trick is going to be the parking brake and how you reset them it has rear calipers on some cars i have seen that you twist the caliper piston to reset or there is going to be a lever that has to be reset the rest is just taking off what holds it on there and reseting the calipers which you can do by opening the bleed valve hope that helps!

  • Great Video. I have done brakes before just not Mercedes. Very informative.

  • so mercedes calipers do not open like most do?

  • Why would my tires spin if my car is off, sir?

  • It will save me AN hour Mon(K)ey

  • Did you make it look difficult so I could sit here and be like, "This is like watching a Nordic retard trying to hump a brake caliper!" You know I love you Mon(K)ey...let's make the effin Loc P video!

  • How are you not getting paid for this yet? 15,000 views and nothin?....the video of my 97 year old grandpa jerking it is making money...shit...my kids can go to any private school they want and I'll live in my mansion thanks to that horny ol gent... Shoulda hurt yourself you fuckin redneck!

  • Good vid, these brakes are comparable to the set I'm doing on a 07 Lexus gs 350 would totally go for watching the sped up portion eve I'd it's assembly in reverse. Maybe a bit more light when doing close ups on parts. Still, having watched it I'm much better prepared for this style of disc brake.

    Thanks!

  • god dam u need a better breaker bar even with that pipe

  • @StealthMoney99 Hey man, nice video..is it safe to change brake yourself? cauze its kind of risky

  • If you have the right tools you can save all of the labor of bleeding the breaks just by taking the master cylinder cap off and using a 6" C-Clamp to compress the cylinders.

Also the wear sensors should be replaced EVERY time and they are only $1.30 each at Napa Auto Parts.
