@ricardox288 Because Ken is top tier on third strike. Ken is considered better then Ryu. Also, Ryu has a basic combo in third strike and can't really combo into specials. Much of Ken's moves has more priority then Ryu's and Ken's special can be comboed with 4 - 5 strong - fierce hits.

whilst loads of people mightg play with the same basic style and be able to do the same things, what separates the best (and daigo is certainly one of them) is that he wins very regularly at the very highest level. put those online ryus vs komoda, t, nuki etc and see if they win any then. the style might be similar but the ability to make the right decisions, win the mind games and make the right decisions when it counts is something specific only to the best players.
