@NovaBUSFan its just 2 different variants they even have a diesel/electric coming out the alp45 but will not run on the nec

@NovaBUSFan that was probably doing 80 mph depending on the engine the alp46 can do 100mph on the nec from trenton to nyc and the upgraded alp46a can do speeds of 125 max similar to the amtrak regionals and acela express

We have those same passenger cars, and soon same locomotives, here in Montreal, and I've never seen them go THAT fast!!! O_O

@mitoschumacher in America they have different vision about trains... to us europeans it looks weird if the loco is pushing instead of pulling the train... :)))
