@Aloh0m0ra hey! doesn't mean that it isn't, it probably is. i don't know anything about harry potter, i wouldn't like children's books to conceal unpleasant elitist messages for my kiddies under a veneer of childish abracadabra gibberish. but that isn't to say lots of people don't really like it, and good on them.

@BarnacleGooseInvalid Possibly... Probably... But it just reminds me so much of Snape explaining to Harry that monkshood and wolfsbane are two names of the same plant. /watch?v=nx_RUYNwp2A I just wish they had got it from there. :) Obviously, the fact that I had never heard of those plants before doesn't mean they hadn't either...

@Aloh0m0ra could just be a flowers reference?

"Get me some wolfsbane, also known as monkshood!"
A Harry Potter reference by M&W?! Nice! :)

homeopathic medicine works just as well as any placebo!

@MsRachYoung As Thomas Jefferson said "Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions."
Mitchell & Webb are holding homeopathy and alt-med to the light of reason and showing it for what it is, using the tool of humour to soften the blow. If even one person who uses alt-med watches this and thinks to themselves "You know, it does sound rather silly" then it is worth losing a few.

gotta say i really dont like comedians that mock this sort of stuff i think its kind of rude...but at the same time this sketch is FAB
FUNFACT: There's more of Hitler's urine in a bottle of homoeopathic "medicine" than there is medicine.

I cracked up laughing at the homeopathic lagers. Homeopathy is such a crock of shit.
