Holy shite, I remember this!!!!!!!!! I fairly died when I saw this I swear.... I think I was living in London at the time - you know - on a 2 year working visa thing.. There she was Bea !!!! Our Bea!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cried, I wanted to phone home, but there was no point obviously!!!!!!!!!! They couldn't switch the telly on to see it..
Ha ha ha... Val made a slight humble reference to being an actor... AN ACTOR - EAT YOUR HEARTS OUT!!!!!!!!!! One of the most fave Aussies ever known!!!!!!!

@jfeltes2 She's Val Lehman,who played tough mol criminal Bea Smith in the1970s-80s Australian soap 'Prisoner' aka 'Cell Block H'.This show was exported from Australia to the UK & became a camp cult classic.

I saw this at the time and sat there shouting at the telly "It`s Bea, it`s Bea". They never mentioned a thing on the programme!
