The Villisca Axe House: A Brush with the Paranormal

In Villisca Iowa, circa 1912, the lives of Josiah and Sara Moore, their four children Herman, Katherine, Boyd, and Paul; and visiting sisters Lena and Ina Stillinger were torn asunder. In the middle of the night, all eight souls were brutally murdered in their beds courtesy of a sicko with an axe. The house has seen many incidents of paranormal activity over the years, so we made it a goal to visit with camera, EMF meter, and digital recorder in hand. This is the account of our nowhere-near-long-enough visit.
