Mumbai Attacks - Talat Hussain Continues Exposing Indian Propaganda [Nov.28.08] 1 of 5

In the wake of terrorist attacks on Mumbai [Nov 27, 2008]; Talat Hussain, Pakistan's most credible investigative journalist & talkshow anchor, followed up his Special Edition of 'Live with Talat' show from the same day with another show on 28.Nov.08 to give a response to the irresponsible & immaturely biased reporting in India media which, as usual, started pointing fingers at Pakistan without any verifiable evidence or any such indication. There are as many conflicting reports & evidence as the number of Indian channels.

Pakistanis have become used to these Indian propaganda tactics but this time, Talat makes it a point to set the record straight and point out with evidence just how biased, partisan, hypocritical & ridiculously hollow, Indian media is - A masterpiece in yellow-journalism.

Pak is facing the heat like never before in this decade...name 2000-2012 the darkest decade of Pak, sports-politics-killings, terrors! How about spending less on occupying J&K militarily with 700,000 troops & withdrawing them n letting Kashmiris decide what they want.. 5) Nawaz Sharif, Former Pak PM hinted that the captured may be a Pakistani(putting his career at risk) and later buckled under pressure.

6) India presented the evidence. Pakistan rejected it for the first few days.

7) US told Pakistan that evidence was credible and confirmed the terrorism was exported to India.

8) Pakistan admitted that Kasab was a Pakistani.

5) Sharif is known for making haughty remarks for one-upmanship, nothing new.

6) India presented evidence on Jan.6th; Pak did not reject anything.

7) U.S shared Indian-provided evidence with Pakistan; yet emphasized that NO Pak state institution was involved. Mumbai attacks were conducted by non-state actors for which states are NOT responsible under Int'l Law.

I want to summarize the sequence of events for Mumbai attacks.

1) Pak media said it was Indian media propaganda to put the blame on Pakistan. There is no evidence linking the attack to Pakistan.

2) UN banned 3 Pak's so called charity Organizations. Pak's friend China did't utter a word in UN. They have supported Pak atleast twice by vetoing against India.

3) Pak's government strongly protested the allegations. They said Kasab was not listed in their national DB.

1) Pak media was correct abt Indian media propaganda, Pakistan/ISI was being blamed within 3hrs of Mumbai attacks even when Indian govt officials were telling Indian media, 'its too early to say who did this'.

2) The banning of charities was under scrutiny long before Mumbai attacks; India's new love affair with the U.S pressurized the UNSC to ban those organizations; no big deal, Pak still has not officially banned J-u-D.

3) Pak govt didnt lie, Kasab still isnt listed in national database.

1. GEO TVs credibility is NOT in question. They always offer alternate perspectives to any news unlike Indian media

2. Scoring political points is common, not jst in Pakistan but also in India. That doesnt say anything abt a country being united or not; how abt we take Mr Antulay's comments regarding Hemant Karkare's death as a sign of disunity in India?
