Yes! It's "Don't Come Knocking" by the Dedicated Men, a bizarre 1960s band who used items found in a junk shop for instruments (no doubt a publicity gimmick to attract Pathe's eye!) We've pasted a link to the full song in the info bar, thanks!

I wonder if this was edited recently - the style feels a lot more modern, like the moment at :51

Yes it was, we edited it down from 5 minutes, and re-arranged some of the vox pops for (what we hope is) comic effect. The link to the original is in the info bar below, thanks for watching!

I hate '70s. The fashion was so ugly back then!

'50s are the best. Absolutely elegant!

like 5 inch pointed-toe spike heels or pumps are less dangerous. :P

So why did they have to choose a girl wearing shoes two sizes too small to do the close up example on. Ladies if your toes hang over the front or your heel hangs over the back, them shoes don't fit. Stop being so vain and buy a bigger style. At 17 I bought a pair of 6 inch platform Mules, I fell down the stairs in them and damaged my knee. Did not stop me wearing them . Forty years later I still have problems with me knee. If I'd know that at 17, I would still have worn them!!

The good old 70's. I remember trying on my mom's platform as a kid, try to walk in them, my foot , mainly my ankel went wobblely. I prefer a well-made wedge, balance the feet, still fashionable. Lov this vid, thanks for posting!

Love this film, make me really laugh. They are right though platforms are bad for your feet but if it looks good why not.
