The bucket drummers aren't fools, talentless or disgusting. They have to obtain street performer licenses for one thing and they also have to be pretty good otherwise business owners and managers will complain and have them removed. I'm a percussionist /bassist and have performed in different groups for over sixteen years and I can tell you these kids are talented and they work hard at their routines. Good for them for going out making an honest buck and entertaining people.
