Also, tease your hair gently, you're teasing it to roughly and that's very damaging. Don't tease it fast, just take your time.

i sometimes use anti frizz products. I am currently using citrus shine shining/ defrizzing serum. I don't see this product in stores anymore. As sooon as i finish this bottle i'll go on trying other brands. if i find a good one i'll tell you =)

is there a way to do the poof and not tease ur hair bcuz my hair is very thick and doesnt tease

Oh yea for sure. Just grab the section that your going to pin back and slide it forward a little so it makes a poof without the teasing =) then pin it down on an angle.
