What an elegant and graceful artist. We are proud of her and other artist from Pakistan film industry. But alas! she died in such a critical condition not only illness but financial and other circumstances. But amazing no one from film industry help their own colleague, Zeba, Deeba etc. Alas! Wha a trgedy.I wish people can learn lesson from such incidents

This song proves its superiority in poetry, rythm, acting etc over all other songs of the subcontinent.
-
faiz ahmed faiz will also be remembered along with noor jehan ,when ever this song will be sung

I typed in old Paki song.... lovely song BTW

@fahad56 fully agree with you Pakistan changed after 1970 this was the watershed. Gone was the Pakistan of Civility, values poetry culture education and enterprise. This was the evil of Bhutto's regime and subsequent regimes their cronies and anticronies which led to systematic destruction of all decent values and instituions in this country. I am not sure when the Paksitan's retched people will end thier love affair with this feudalistic and dwonright mean and narcicisstic family.
-
@saal2k7 she is an icon of pak movies, pray for long life
-
@fahad56 i fully endorse the views
-
melody queen at her best in this song
-
I loved Pakistan, Pakistani culture, people, songs & films, till 1970 after that Pakistan and Pakistanis are changed very rapidly in very unpleasant way, everything destroyed. there's nothing left that we can be proud of. Unfortunately still they are not wakeup. I cannot say WHERE ARE THOSE GREAT WRITERS, MUSICIAN, SINGERS, ACTORS, DIRECTORS, and SKILL Workers simply there is no one left or they have no chance becouse they speaking different language than influential people. Fahad,Amsterdam

@MTHDSJTZ And me, just with My mum is pakistani
-
There was a song from the film Daddy ...Talat Aziz sang the ghazal Aaina Mujhse Meri Pehli Si Surat Mange,,,,,,,,jus realized Madam Noor Jahan sang the original
-
It is one of those songs that you love to listen to, without really knowing what is that you like in it ? May be there is some invisible X factor in a song like this, which makes such perennial favorite of the music fans. Love is immortal and the feelings are peaceful. When you mix both of them you extinguish your thrust. Tranquility is the final stage. Terrific voice and composition, our beloved Madam Late Noor Jehan was the only chandelier Pakistan had in its industry. (5th April 2011)
