Popes are the shepherds of the catholic church. If the shepherds are not preaching Christ, and Christ the only way to God, then they are false teachers. True Christians should leave them.

Christ is the head of the church. Church rules in conflict with the Bible Truth prove that church to be a whole. "My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'" (Mat. 21:13)

Article #841 of the Catechism is against John 14:6, Jesus is the only Way.

BTW: the Roman Catholic religion believes a lot of man-made rules outside of the Bible, that is, the sin of adding to God's Word.

I ask you this....Is it unusual for one to ask another to pray for them? the answer would be no, then why do some have the notion that asking Mary to pray for us is wrong. Mary mother of GOD pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen... and I say to you Amen.

Mary is the mother of GOD...as we honor our own mother we do so for the mother of Jesus. As a catholic we do not praise Mary as a GOD...but we honor her for being the mother of GOD.
