Luigi's Mansion speedrun - segment 5

This is one segment of a Luigi's Mansion speedrun done in 13 segments with save-warping, using the PAL version on a Wii. I started it a long time ago but never got round to completing; I uploaded it now as I realised I'll probably never finish.

This is my third attempt at this speedrun; the first came out at around 1:41 (that was a test run), the second at about 1:31:30, and I aim to reach 1:30 or lower with this, after having split two of the longer segments and improved the route a little (oh, and of course, there are fewer mistakes). I'm quite confident that this is the best possible route to take. I focus mainly on mistakes in the segment comments, so I hope I don't sound too pessimistic...

Segment 5
Firstly, I need to say that the random flashing of the torch at the start was me pressing B to the music - music that seems either very quiet or non-existent in the video...

Near the start, I made 2 minor mistakes, failing to capture the Fire ghost before the Kitchen for a second and then losing a second capturing the Ice Elemental in the Fridge. The reason I water the door before capturing the Boo is because the door takes a while to become openable. For the second time ever, I managed to suck up the dog (can't remember its name) in one go, though this was slightly more sloppy than when I did so before. I lost perhaps another 6 seconds overall with the skeleton ghosts before the boss.

Now, this boss is the second hardest part of the entire run for me. What I eventually ended up with here is acceptable, but still took 5 rounds, one of which had me not even starting to suck up the boss; I think it can be optimised to about 3 rounds, but that would be hard to achieve, especially seeing as it's at the end of a segment. That would cut my time down by up to 18 seconds; taking 5-10 off is more realistic, though.

yeah i know ^^ i just wanted to know how to beat him ^^ but i already know it ;)
