http://www.donotmail.org/takeaction Join us on November 10 for the Return to Offender Day of Action. Return your junk mail to the worst junk mail offenders: Bank of America, American Express, and Capital One.
Why do you even have to open the envelope? Just write to sender as soon as you receive it and send it back. This is not the only problem in the US, I have no option but to receive advertising material that is actually delivered by the postman! I have no option but to receive it.
Very good. I had a bank account with Chase bank and I repeatedly called them every month for over a year for them to stop mailing me their "freedom" credit card offers. After my 12th month of still receiving that crap i closed my account for that reason. When I closed my account I showed the manager all the junk mail they sent and she said..."This isn't MAIL, it's just information on how you can save with your freedom card!" I am not making this up! True story!

@Aciram The post office disposes of these, you have to return it in the business reply envelope.
