A whole new world of travel comfort takes off in summer 2011 with the introduction of Economy Comfort seating on our long-haul international flights. Early boarding gives you extra time to find your seat and get situated. Stretch out with up to four inches additional legroom. Recline 50% further than standard Economy Class seating. Then enjoy complimentary beer, wine, and spirits along the way. Try it and see how the idea of "affordable comfort" is no longer a stretch.

  • @Aviationnation10 compared to 25 years ago, air travel is dirt cheap....

  • "Melissa Lacks" a normal accent.

  • Any airline which owns Boeing aicrafts will be one of the top airlines....Rock on Delta airlines...best "American" airline and soon to be of world's top airline

  • I fly SEA-SGN 3 times per year ( Feb, Jun, Dec) for business and leisure. I chose airline base on air fare (number 1 in priority), time delay when changing plane (number 2 on the list), seat comfort (for long haul flight). US flag careers fare are low, but when you add up baggage fee and other fees, you might as well flight foreign airlines such as Cathay, Eva, Asiana where they don't charged you on baggage and provide you with more comfort than US airlines

  • Delta's cabin is a joke compared to Asian/Middle Eastern/ & even European standards. Not just Delta, All American Carriers cabins are a joke. I've been on Qatar Airways and then stepped straight into American carriers as the next leg of my trip and the difference was noticeable immediately.

  • @VicenteMosin but like I got a flight to London for €3 you will never get that in the us

  • @Aviationnation10 AFAIK airlines are supposed to ask for ID before giving military benefits.

In the USA the actual cost of travel, while taking into account inflation, has gone way down. It was due to deregulation, rise of low cost carriers, the internet (makes price comparison easier), etc. Airlines are trying to get back pricing control by merging and adding fees.

  • @VicenteMosin I never understood why travel is so expensive in the us and most is domestic! I find that crazy well I the Americans are big into the Milatry! a guy who pretended to be a soldier got an upgrade to first class on AA!
