0) First, check the map to know the fare amount (indicating adult one-way fare).
1) Select the numbers of passengers at the left if not they sell one adult ticket.
2) Touch the fare for one adult.
3) Then total amount you have to pay will be indicated.
4) Insert money. Change will be given automatically (calculation will be shown on the display) and tickets will be issued alltogether. Now almost all JR and Metro ticket machines in Tokyo are of this new type.

i don't get it. So u selected the 310, selected 2 people, then u get ONE ticket and change, then u use the change to buy the second? Why didn't it just give you the two tickets and keep the change?

No! İt is giving two tickets but in the video you dont see it properly.
