    "track stocks, draw charts or balance weasels on a rake" three of the most common computational tasks. well, maybe not chart drawing or stock tracking but weasel balancing is right up there...

    I've seriously had this book in my bookshelf for over a year and never went past the global variables... And since i am too tired of java(and c,c++, and currently doing a very little bit of python I thought "might aswell jump on lisp) and I'm loving it currently, especialyl how easy it is to create a .exe file in it O.o(compared to python and java).
