Is it possible to do this with a lap top??

@MrCmaty dvi is better but it really depends on what your monitor has. if you have one monitor that has a DVI then use the DVI if you have one of each try and use both.

how would i connect a laptop screen to a stationary that has a monitor?
TheHefistos 1 month ago
@TheHefistos if you mean you want to hook it up so that your desktop will project onto a regular monitor and extend the desktop to show on your laptop then im pretty sure that you cant.
you just need to buy another monitor. you can hook up a regular computer screen to your laptop but in my expirence it will just mirror exactly what you are doing on the lap top because laptop video cards are designed to only run one screen at a time. its a non fixable bios issue.

can i do full screen wow on 1 and watdch youtube on the other?
supergyl 4 months ago
@supergyl generally no you cant. you can do windowed mode and make it big and then use the other screen for whatever. then you push Alt to drak the must off the screen. i use to play wow like this but i liked having the full screen better and just put vent on the second window. even though i couldnt freely acess vent i could see who was talking at all times and put media player up behing that and you can see your playlist

@Bajungadustin Will this work with a TV screen and a monitor?
TheYognaught 8 months ago
@TheYognaught yes... it depends on the TV. i have had 3 monitors and my TV all going at the same time before. But your video card needs to support it. if you go into your video settings there should be an option to set up your display to be [Monitor + TV] or [TV + Monitor] depending on wich you want to be primary. Watch my video again at 2:56 and i explain it a little more. you may have to plug your TV into your computer before your settings will allow you to set it up.
