An interesting song/video by a band I wasn't aware of until I made this discovery on one of my dad's old video tapes. Recorded off a show called Sounds in 1982.

My wife and I are both of an age to remember this period with some affection, but this song went under her radar at the time. I'm so glad I could find this and show her, thank you so much!

Incidentally, I used to own the 12" remix of this bad boy... awesome stuff!

Darn, I am SOOOOOOOOO jelous that you have access to your dad's SOUNDS original VHS tapes!

I would KILL for such things!.. SOUNDS was THE SHIT, such an amazing music program on Channel 7, 7 has since destroyes all the footage, CRY!

Blue Rondo A La Turk are FABULOUS and so is this track and video. Sigh +... Bring back 1982 NOW!

he he, there's more in my dad's collection than just those Sounds tapes. My dad was a teenage roadie back in the 70's and he has kept a lot of merchandise, demo tapes, bootlegs, etc. Thank you for the comment!

@MrJorgepbrandao Hi, sorry about the passing of your uncle. I don't have a better quality clip to this song. My dad, who still owns the VHS video-tape, recorded this clip off a music show called 'Sounds' back in 1982. I have since moved out of home, so unfortunately I no longer have immediate access to this clip.'

WOW. !!!! This is a classic from the early 80's. At the time of the new romantic stuff like spandau ballet and japan. blue rondo's sharp image and pioneering boy band looks were well ahead of their time, such a shame they didnt last. Youve uncovered a diamond here, dont suppose you have the vid of the flip side 'me and mr sanchez'?
