@supertruckertom Who cares what they drive it with. It's benefit is in it's ability to amplify RF, efficiently and effectively. Why waste money on an expensive rig, that is likely to get beaten up, being used at the Hamvention? Personally, I'd like to see it driven by a KWM-2A or "S" Line, maybe even a Drake.

I suppose they wanted customers to focus on the amplifier instead of a 'fancy' radio.

I find it funny that they use a $700 Icom IC 716 to demo a $7000+ amplifier. Or is it a $10k amp?
