a major side effect of anti-psychotics are metabolic issues which cause weight gain. This is not easy for people. There is a huge stigma still associated with mental illnesses. Thank you for showing this documentary it's helpful insight to people.

Here's what I always say to people who don't think mental illnesses are that bad, "Physical problems can be fixed, Mental problems can not." I have OCD.

the important thing to realize that there is no help. ITs often pretty difficult in this life to even get help if you're burger in mcdonalds is cold and you want a fresh one and the person is often reluctant to get you another. The point i am trying to make is that knowbody cares. its just a case of how much money they can make from you. youre nothing but cattle. not that i think cattle shud be treated badly but thats the wayour government treat living things. they have no respect

Ever since I saw "The Stockholm Solution" at the Babelgum web site, I'm convinced that we have psychiatric disorders all wrong. I feel sorry for this young woman who will end up taking drugs for the rest of here life with side effects and all. I wishe there was some way I could help her and so many who suffer as she is

@exbronco1980 it's not a cure, it's just taking the sharp edges of the disease and make it more bearable.

I have a pain disorder, and the pills don't help, they rarely do, and they cost a ton. I am 15, i also have trouble walking, i do not go to school, I really understand what you are going through, hope you get better.

I did have some things talk to me, but that was not really the main thing. I think the otherside is designed to get rid of us. My dreams were all mocking dreams.

I'm stuck with some of my delusions, but they aren't really that powerful anymore. I'm sorry the magazines were staring at you. I hear people talk about me, but they aren't talking to me, I have visions, and I get these odd warning things. I also have a lot of odd things happen. My issues aren't really the same. I think they are from many things at once. You probably have the same thing happening.
I'm afraid this is living with mental illness "joedogg102". It is'nt a clean or easy ride. You can't just go to a doctor with this sort of problem, and they give you 1 magic pill to make it all better.. And you have to understand that the medication shown in this film were NOT all taken at one time. They are just the different types of medication that she has been on in the past. Mental illness disgusts me mate, so please watch how you word things on here. It is'nt easy to live with for anybody.
